Siamo presenti sul mercato spagnolo del gas naturale attraverso Eni España Comercializadora de Gas (“EECG”, controllata Eni) e operiamo nei settori Refining & Marketing e Chimica, con la consociata Eni Iberia e Plenitude.
A dicembre 2022 Plenitude ha firmato un accordo per l’acquisizione del 100% di PLT (PLT Energia S.r.l e SEF S.r.l. e rispettive controllate e partecipate), un gruppo italiano integrato nella produzione di energia elettrica da fonti rinnovabili e nella fornitura di energia a clienti retail, che vanta un portafoglio di 1,6 GW di capacità rinnovabile in Italia e in Spagna e di 90.000 clienti retail. Attraverso questa operazione sinergica, con il suo portafoglio di asset rinnovabili e di clientela retail, l’azienda rafforza la sua presenza in entrambi i Paesi.

Di seguito i dati del 2022 che riguardano le nostre attività nella Penisola Iberica.
Attraverso Eni España Comercializadora de Gas, siamo impegnati nell’approvvigionamento e nella vendita di gas naturale ai segmenti industriale, PMI (Piccole Media Imprese / Small Medium Enterprises-SME), cogenerazione e mercato grossista. Nel 2022 le vendite nella Penisola Iberica di Eni sono state 3,93 miliardi di metri cubi, in aumento di 0,18 miliardi di metri cubi (+4,8%) rispetto al 2021 grazie alle maggiori vendite ai clienti grossisti e industriali.
Refining & Marketing e Chimica
Una panoramica sui principali dati relativi al Paese nel 2022.
Operiamo in Spagna nel blending e nella commercializzazione di lubrificanti attraverso la consociata Eni Iberia nata da uno spin-off di Agip España. La società conta oggi 84 dipendenti. Possediamo un impianto di blending & filling lubrificanti, terzo per la produzione di questi prodotti in Spagna, con capacità produttiva di circa 50 mila tonnellate e un elevato grado di flessibilità. La commercializzazione dei lubrificanti Eni in Spagna, sia per l'industria automobilistica che per l'industria, avviene attraverso la propria rete di vendita diretta (13 propri rappresentanti di vendita) e tramite distributori. A partire dal 2013 Eni Iberia ha iniziato la distribuzione di Carburanti e Carburanti nel business Extra Rete, dopo la scadenza dell'impegno di non concorrenza con Galp, siglato nel 2008. Commercializza i propri Carburanti e Carburanti ai clienti Wholesale, con una rete di 5 rappresentanti di vendita che coprono la Penisola Iberica e le Isole Baleari (escluse le Isole Canarie).
Nel 2018 abbiamo avviato anche attività di trading a Barcellona, in collaborazione con Eni trading & shipping e siamo presenti nel Paese nel settore chimico attraverso una filiale commerciale di Versalis International situata nella città di Barcellona. Nel 2021 Eni Iberia ha iniziato la gestione di 9 stazioni di servizio autostradali vinte in gara pubblica lanciata dal Ministero dei Trasporti spagnolo. Si tratta di stazioni ad alta capacità situate sugli assi principali di trasporto Nord-Sud Mediterraneo (Autostrada AP7) nonché sulla linea ad alta capacità che collega le città di Cadice e Siviglia in Andalusia (AP4).
L’energia rinnovabile nel Paese
Alcuni dati del 2022 per raccontare le nostre attività in Spagna.
Plenitude, l'azienda di Eni che si dedica alla produzione di energia rinnovabile, soluzioni di fornitura per i clienti finali e una vasta gamma di infrastrutture di ricarica per veicoli elettrici, è entrata nel mercato iberico a gennaio 2021 con l'acquisizione di Aldro Energía. Apporta la sua esperienza nei settori della riqualificazione energetica, promuovendo soluzioni per l'efficienza energetica degli edifici residenziali e delle case, nell'energia fotovoltaica e nella mobilità elettrica. A febbraio 2021 abbiamo siglato un accordo con X-Elio, azienda leader nell’ambito di progetti di energia rinnovabile a livello globale, per l’acquisizione di tre progetti fotovoltaici nel sud della Spagna per una capacità complessiva di 140 MW.
A luglio 2021, attraverso Plenitude, abbiamo siglato un accordo con Azora Capital per l’acquisizione di un portafoglio di nove progetti di energia rinnovabile nel Paese. L’operazione prevede l’acquisizione di tre impianti eolici in esercizio e un impianto eolico in costruzione nel centro-nord del paese, per un totale di 230 MW, e cinque grandi progetti fotovoltaici in avanzato stato di sviluppo per circa 1 GW. Per tutti gli impianti attualmente in costruzione e in sviluppo, lavoreremo insieme ad Azora per garantire l’entrata in produzione entro il 2024. L’accordo è parte della nostra strategia di crescita nel mercato spagnolo, basata sullo sviluppo congiunto della generazione elettrica da fonti rinnovabili e della base di clienti retail. Inoltre, sempre tramite Plenitude abbiamo acquisito dai relativi soci fondatori la società Dhamma Energy Group (“Dhamma”), titolare di una piattaforma per lo sviluppo di impianti fotovoltaici in Francia e in Spagna. Il portafoglio impianti di Dhamma include una pipeline di progetti in vari stadi di maturità di quasi 3 GW, distribuita nei due Paesi. A settembre 2022, attraverso la nostra controllata Plenitude – Società Benefit (100% Eni), abbiamo avviato una nuova partnership con Infrastrutture S.p.A. per lo sviluppo di progetti solari ed eolici in Italia e Spagna, attraverso l’acquisizione del 65% di Hergo Renewables S.P.A., società che detiene un portafoglio di progetti nei due Paesi con una capacità complessiva di circa 1,5 GW. A ottobre 2022 Plenitude ha inaugurato il parco eolico spagnolo El Monte da 104,5 MW. L'energia è generata da 19 turbine eoliche tra le più grandi installate in Spagna e la centrale produrrà circa 300 GWh all'anno che consentirà a Plenitude di aumentare la capacità di produzione di energia da fonti rinnovabili nel Paese. Il progetto ha inoltre contribuito alla creazione di posti di lavoro diretti e indiretti a livello locale.
