At Eni, we are looking for a Safety Advisor within Eni Iraq in Iraq. You will be supporting the Company’s HSE Management System. The role is to be proactive and lead by example, promoting the Company's HSE standards and practices. You will be coordinating, updating and reviewing its HSE MS documentation to ensure it complies with the requirements of ISO 45001 Standard.
The role will also involve assisting the site teams and managers by recognizing hazards and seeking to minimize risks whilst creating, maintaining and improving the Company’s HSE standards
As a member ofEni Iraq you will be responsible for:
Coordinate the development, monitoring, updating and reporting of the various HSE plans (e.g. 4-year Plan and Annual Plan, HSE Audit Plan) and risk registers (e.g. High Level Risk Register, Environmental Aspect Register) and provide support to other departments and organization functions to ensure ‘corrective actions’ are assigned and implemented.
Develop, implement and maintain the HSE MS documentation, in compliance with ISO 45001 standard as well as with Eni HSE MS.
Manage the web-based tool SAFER ensuring the smooth process of assignment and duly close out of all corrective actions.
Lead and participate to internal and external HSE audits and inspections in both COMPANY and Contractors’ premises to verify that Occupational Health and Safety conditions comply with the contractual HSE requirements and associated standards.
Participate, as a member of the investigation team, in Incident Investigations and support the preparation of lessons learned.
Prepare, facilitate and participate, as member of the ERT, in Company’s emergency drills.
Support the HSE Manager in improving the HSE awareness, promotion and communications process across the whole organization using all available tools (e.g. emails, Intranet)
Organize HSE meetings and events (town hall, safety day, HSE forum) to promote safety in work place.
Assist the HSE Manager to manage and oversee all company activities and safety related issues.
Support the HSE team in the data gathering and analysis of the Company’s HSE Performance.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
Degree or equivalent in a Safety or similar associated discipline
Experience working with safety issues preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Proven track record in the preparation of technical documentation to a high standard, especially HSE Plans and Procedures.
Presentation skills
Previous experience of remote sites operations.
Thorough working knowledge of eni HSE and International standards requirements
Have the ability to address and manage safety issues, which affect the projects development
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in multi tasks
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract, 28/28 roatation
