Antitrust Compliance Programme

Eni has equipped itself with a special antitrust regulatory instrument.

Antitrust Compliance Programme

To ensure compliance with antitrust rules - expressly referred to in the Code of Ethics - Eni has adopted an Antitrust Compliance Program, as formalized in the ECG Policy Antitrust, which complies with national and international best practices, including the Italian Competition Authority’s Guidelines on Antitrust Compliance and ISO 37301 standards. The Antitrust Compliance Program applies to Eni and its subsidiaries. To implement the Antitrust Compliance Program, Eni has established a specialized antitrust unit, a Company function in charge of preliminarily assessing the compliance of business initiatives with antitrust rules, identifying related risks, and specifying measures to mitigate those risks. The same Company function is also responsible for promoting awareness and compliance with antitrust rules among Eni people through guidelines and dedicated training initiatives.
