Moreover, every year training necessities are mapped and evaluated according to specific needs.
Furthermore, to prepare young graduates for work in the energy sector, Eni provides top-class training paths to integrate academic knowledge with company know-how, autonomously (MEDEA Master) and in collaboration with the best universities in Italy. With the Italian universities, in particular, Eni collaborates in the realization of initiatives aimed at the specialization and training of young students and graduates to facilitate their inclusion in the energy sector, through the activation of Master's Degree II level (Energy Innovation at the Polytechnic of Milan, Energy Engineering and Operations at the Polytechnic of Turin). Eni also collaborates with the Universities of the Countries in which operates through training programs aimed at young university professors to enable them to acquire and transfer the skills of excellence. Eni also implements alternating school / work programs in order to increase the possibility for young people to approach the world of work by strengthening their technical and professional skills.
Knowledge management is defined as the processes and systems that support the creation, development, sharing and application of knowledge within the company.
The Knowledge Management system of Eni consists in virtual spaces, such as sites and portals of different nature, in which the communities of practice are hosted as well as tools for disseminating knowledge, such as collaborative platforms, webinars, document repositories, search engines, and other links and material of interest widespread. In particular, in the upstream sector, where the wealth of highly specialised know-how is a vital asset for Eni, we have adopted a cutting-edge knowledge management system based on a next-generation enterprise social network. At any time and in any place, all our technicians can interact directly with colleagues from around the world, getting immediate support for the resolution of a problem.
