Internal Faculty: At the heart of our knowledge

To support the development of technical, cross-cutting and behavioural skills, we invest in the continuous training of our people. This includes our Internal Faculty, which brings together more than 700 active trainers. 
This extensive network of in-house professionals, refreshed every year through a structured skills-mapping process, uses its experience and advanced tools and methodologies to connect with colleagues across Eni, fostering a genuine intergenerational dialogue, because knowledge gains value when it is shared. 
Faculty members also take part in dedicated training programmes that broaden their expertise with teaching capabilities.  
Being part of Eni’s Internal Faculty means supporting colleagues’ professional growth by sharing experience, spreading corporate culture and strengthening skills.

Knowledge Management: Knowledge in circulation

Knowledge Management is the foundation of our corporate culture, enabling us to share knowledge and generate new insight. It is a strategic lever that generates innovation and new expertise by making the most of every experience and competence within the organisation. 

At Eni, the Knowledge Management team oversees the process of collecting, organising and disseminating knowledge, as well as managing the advanced collaborative platform Eni Knowledge Management System (e-KMS). In this way, we transform individual knowledge into a collective, accessible and constantly evolving asset, creating value and fuelling the innovation that underpins our business strategies. At the heart of this ecosystem are 40 Communities of Practice – virtual spaces powered by people that facilitate the exchange of ideas, peer-to-peer discussion and the development of new perspectives. They are open spaces where everyone can contribute actively, find inspiration, learn and share. 
To further broaden learning opportunities, we provide access to more than 4,000 webinars, valuable tools for rapidly and widely disseminating knowledge and experience. 

We also have access to the new Knowledge Hub, an application powered by evolving Generative AI technologies and available to all Eni people.
