Training at Eni

Innovative programmes to share Eni's values and develop strategic skills.

We value training

Eni has always believed deeply in the value of training. Our programmes focus on our people’s professional development and use several innovative and customisable learning methods to enhance their expertise. From the moment they join the company, all Eni people can take advantage of paths for the growth and improvement of their personal and specialist skills, and we do this in all the locations where we operate, in Italy and abroad.

We provide a constantly updated personal training CV, which details our people’s completed courses, whether as participants or teachers.

A team effort

To guarantee the continuous training process, we have set up a centre of excellence, the Eni Corporate University, which coordinates training activities, manages synergies within Eni and supports improvement and constant skills growth.

On-going learning is also backed by the Eni Faculty, a network of teachers within the company, who share their experience, Eni’s values, as well as their expertise with other colleagues.

Some of our programmes

With Eni Academy and Welcome for Expert, young new recruits and more expert staff can discover more about Eni's satellite reality and they can build a solid network.

Eni supports its people in their personal and professional growth, providing coaching and mentoring activities, carried out with in-house professionals and figures with significant corporate experience. The coaches of the Eni Coaching Academy, trained according to the standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), support their colleagues in achieving professional goals, by developing further individual skills within a relationship based on trust, confidentiality and personal engagement.

Through their significant professional experience, Eni Mentors inspire colleagues with lower seniority who may be facing periods of transition and are open to discussion and sharing ideas, as well as being interested in learning about a professional path different from their own. In mentoring, the exchange is always two-way, both mentor and mentee contribute with their experience and viewpoints on the company, as a result of a continuous and generational partnership.
