In line with the digitalization process undertaken by Eni, the Human Resources and Organisation management has launched a series of initiatives that allow important goals of simplification, transparency and effectiveness of work processes to be achieved, placing employee experience enhancement at the centre. Specifically, an advanced, paperless and environmentally sustainable digital platform to support the process of management and administration of non-managerial staff in Italy (more than 20,000 employees) was introduced in 2018. Starting with the requests of each individual employee (absences, leave, part-time, smart working, loans, advances on deferred severance salary, etc.), this platform manages all phases of the process – from request to approval, via electronic signature, ending with digital archiving – in compliance with the highest levels of IT security and technical-legal requirements established by legislation.
