Sustainability is about ensuring that the needs of the present are met without compromising the future of the next generations. We contribute to providing affordable energy for people in an increasingly environmentally sustainable manner. We are supporting the energy transition through a gradual approach, drawing on a range of industrial and technological solutions aimed at progressively reducing emissions and expanding the supply of lower-carbon energy and services, looking after people and the environment. Once again this year, Eni has drawn up its Sustainability Report in accordance with European legislation. Prepared in accordance with Legislative Decree 125/2024, the report is published within the Annual Report. This continues the process begun in 2010 of integrating non-financial information with financial information. For the 2025 Sustainability Report, please refer to pages 134–260 of the 2025 Annual Report in the Financial Statements and Reports section. In this context, Eni for serves as a complementary and supplementary document to the Sustainability Report, designed to make sustainability-related information more accessible to stakeholders through clearer and more concise language, case studies, thematic focuses and interviews.
