Chairman of the 231 Supervisory Body
Born in Catanzaro in 1954, lawyer and auditor for financial statement, he has been Chairman of the Eni 231 Supervisory Body since June 2023.
He is currently Chairman of Alfiere SpA, of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA Group, Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Itaca Equity Holding SpA, Tamburi Group, Chairman of Patrimonio Italia Logistica SICAF, Poste SpA Group, and Chairman of Tecno SpA and Tecnomeccanica SpA, both part of Invitalia Group.
He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Bodies of Leonardo Global Solution of Leonardo Group, Banca del Mezzogiorno-Mediocredito Centrale, Rete Srl of Terna Group and Acea Ato2 SpA.
From 1985 to 1993 he was an officer on permanent duty in the Guardia di Finanza.
From 1993 to 2001 he was Central Legal and Tax Director at Ferrovie dello Stato SpA.
From 2002 to 2006 he was Director General of the Revenue Agency.
From 2005 to 2008 he was Chairman of Equitalia SpA.
From 2006 to 2011 he was Chief Executive Officer of CONSAP.
From 2008 to 2012 he was General Manager of AAMS – Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies.
From 2011 to 2012 he was Chairman of CONSIP SpA.
From 2011 to 2012 he was a Director of SOGEI SpA.
From 2012 to 2015 he was Chief Executive Officer of CDP Immobiliare SrL, (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti group).
From 2020 to 2021, he was Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Banca Popolare Bari SpA.
From 2021 to 2025, he was Chairman of FS Sistemi Urbani SpA (FS Group).
From 2022 to 2025, he was Chairman of CDP Real Asset SGR SpA (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group).
He graduated in Law from the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
