At Eni, we are looking for a Networking & System Infrastructure Section Head within Zubair Field Operating Division in Iraq. You will be responsible for the ENI IRAQ / ZFOD Systems & Network corporate environment which include virtualization (vSphere,Hyper-v) Storage (NetApp,HPE), Antivirus (McAfee ePO), Server Roles (DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, NPS, Printer), enterprise-grade Cisco based network, etc. Interfaces with the local team and Service Desk in order to guarantee availability of the mentioned infrastructure and services, through pro-active maintenance and planned enhancements driven by the best HQ standards.
As a member ofZubair Field Operation Division, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the functioning of all Company systems and network, monitoring the day-by-day system activities, producing reports when required
Ensure, as much as possible, that all agreed Company standards for security and data protection, software and hardware are adhered to.
Keep the systems software and other software for common use, together with the related documentation, updated.
Ensure that Company hardware and software specifications and standards conform the corporate ones.
Ensure activities related to system improvements planning and optimization.
Provide for the design, development, and implementation of IT & Network systems
Install, test, and commission hardware, software and firmware for all active devices on the LAN;
Keep proper and up-dated documentation on configurations, including, but not restricted to, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, WI-FI controllers and Access Points, cabling, network addresses and hubs, etc.
Contribute in the formulation of IT policies, and the development of departmental procedures and standards, ensuring adherence to them;
Monitor the systems and ensure immediate addressing of any incident/problem;
Plan periodic checks of the equipment and providing for the prompt repair with Company personnel or contractor service;
Write technical Scope of Works for ITT packages related to IT & Network Systems;
Liaise with contractors to guarantee the execution of contracts related to IT & Network area
Guarantee the correct update of the asset database
Evaluate, examine and propose, in close collaboration with Users and in accordance with Head Office standard and guidelines, new software packages for potential use of the Company.
demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following and implementing company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policy (IMS)
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
IT infrastructure services & hardware: Active Directory, Network Storage, Virtual Environments, Operating Systems, Servers Hardware (such as HP Blades)
Modern networking fundamentals as they relate to Cisco enterprise networks including but not limited to TCP/IP, RIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
Work with ITIL and other enterprise Frameworks is a plus
Skill and experience with disaster recovery and backup technology and procedures for Windows Server-based products.
Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) would be appreciated
Experience in the IT & networking infrastructure area
Degree or high school license in the area of:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Engineering/Science related disciplines
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract, 28/28 roatation
