San Donato Milanese (Milan), 20 December 2012 – In just over 20 days, the exhibition “Psyche and Cupid‘ has attracted more than 100,000 visitors,confirming its position as one of the most eagerly awaited events of the cultural and artistic season. Entrance to the exhibitionis free of charge until January 13.

The exhibition, organized by Eni at the Palazzo Marino in collaboration with the Louvre Museum and the City of Milan, has thrilled audiences in special exhibition spaces in the Baroque Sala Alessi,which has been transformed into a beautiful Italian garden.

The exhibition is dedicated to masterpieces by two of the greatest exponents of Neoclassicism, the sculpture Amore e Psiche stanti by Antonio Canova and the painting Psyché et l’Amour by François Gérard.

As in previous years, the number of visitors confirms the appreciation of the Eni cultural formula, offering special free showings of masterpieces from the Louvre museum in Italy.

The show offers educational initiatives, video material and digital aids, including the website www.amoreepsicheamilano.it, a free app, and videos and insights on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Foursquare.
