Eni considers safety in the workplace an essential part of its operations.
Eni takes all the necessary actions to prevent accidents from happening, and everyone who works for and with Eni contributes to reaching this goal every single day. We use all our experience to manage safety in a way that protects our people, suppliers, installations and processes. We respond to emergencies with targeted prevention and preparedness measures.
Our objective is to entirely eliminate accidents in the course of the work performed by both employees and contract staff. Everyone who works at Eni and for Eni contributes to achieving this objective on a daily basis.
Eni’s safety promotion in numbers in the last year.
Eni has developed and implemented a Process Safety Management System that is monitored by specific audits. The purpose of this system is to prevent and mitigate the uncontrolled release of dangerous substances that could develop into major hazards, in order to protect the safety of people, the environment, production, assets and the Company's reputation. In recent years, the body of procedures on emergency management has been reinforced, increasing the timeliness of communication flows, organising regular emergency exercises to test our ability to respond in terms of plans, resources, vehicles and material, and identifying appropriate corrective actions.
