Through Environmental Surveys, we assess the level of perception of environmental culture in order to define solid actions and promote awareness-raising activities.
We are committed to protecting the environment in all our activities.
Our actions to protect the environment are based on principles of precaution, protection, information and participation – in all the countries where we operate. We promote environmental protection by identifying and preventing potential impacts, managing natural resources efficiently, and adopting solutions focused on energy efficiency and the principles of circularity. From this perspective, the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable management of water and other natural resources also contribute to the fight against climate change, by enhancing ecosystems' ability to absorb carbon and to be more resilient to extreme natural events. Preserving the natural terrestrial, aquatic and marine environment, generating energy accessible to all, and supporting more sustainable consumption models are some of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda, signed by over 150 world leaders. As a global energy tech company, we adopt these same goals as benchmarks to guide our actions and investments.
Our commitment to operating responsibly and protecting ecosystems whilst preserving the environment and the planet.
The transition process also uses the circular economy as a lever to guide society towards a regenerative model.
Through Environmental Surveys, we assess the level of perception of environmental culture in order to define solid actions and promote awareness-raising activities.
The Environment Campaign was launched on internal communication channels accessible worldwide with video testimonials from working environments.
We have supported our suppliers’ commitment with the Environment and Safety Pact.
We have launched a campaign to promote the application of our Environmental Golden Rules in every work context.
The protection of the environment is essential to ensure the sustainability of our planet and a future for the new generations. For Eni, this is a core value that translates into strategies for preventing pollution, conserving natural capital, and the circular use of resources.
