Rome, 30 March – Eni retained its position as the top company for the second year running on the Webranking Europe 500 ranking, the research led by Comprend, in collaboration with Lundquist, which evaluates the quality of online corporate communication of the major 500 European listed companies by market capitalization (included in the FT 500 Europe). The European research considers a total of 29 Italian companies.
This year, Eni reached 87 points out of 100, followed by Snam and Telecom Italia. The Webranking research measures the main principles of corporate and financial communication and the capacity to dialogue on digital channels. The companies that have passed the stress test show how they are able to manage their reputation on digital channels creating a privileged relationship with their stakeholders, allowing the access to capital markets, attracting the best talents and creating the conditions to properly handle eventual reputational crisis.
The research’s criteria are updated each year following the results of a survey submitted to financial journalists and investors. This year’s research was made of 100 criteria organized in 10 sections for a maximum score of 100 points.
