Rome, May 22nd. - Eni was ranked first in the FT Bowen Craggs Index 2013, index that evaluates the effectiveness of online communications of the major global companies selected by the FT Global 500 index. Among the companies selected by the index, this year in its seventh edition, are the major 25, coming from US, Europe and rest of the world. At the top of the ranking published on May 22nd, are Eni, Bp and Sap ex aequo. Siemens, Shell, Unilever, Nestlé, Roche, Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline follow in the top ten.
The Bowen Craggs Index has developed a methodology that evaluates in detail the websites analysed. Among the evaluated aspects are the structure and usability of the sites, the effectiveness of communication towards strategic categories as investors, media, customers, the labour market and the ways in which Corporate Social Responsibility policies are described.
