For the third year Eni has been acknowledged as an A+ , the highest application level of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines, for its sustainability reporting 2012.
Eni decided to set the sustainability reporting - Integrated Report, eni for 2012 – in accordance with the G3.1 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and the Oil & Gas Sector Supplement (OGSS), a year before the entry into force of the OGSS (January 2014).

Eni adopts the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines since 2006 and actively took part to the working group for the drafting of the specific guidelines for the oil & gas sector (OGSS).
Therefore, this result is a reflection of Eni's huge commitment to the transparent, extensive and exhaustive reporting across the whole range of sustainability issues. The decision to adopt such a rigorous and all-embracing standard as that of the GRI, is evidence of a corporate management system that integrates all aspects of sustainability and continuously monitors developments in order to improve and refine strategic decisions.
