The class of Tunisian students that won the initiative promoted by Eni entitled "Una lingua universale: la musica" (Music: a universal language), will visit Rome and the region of Basilicata during the week of 7 - 15 October 2011, accompanied by their teachers and Eni personnel.
The 26 students from the region of Tataouine (Tunisia), aged between 12 and 14, won the "premio internazionale", which consist of a trip to Italy, as part of the Schoolnet project aimed at first level secondary schools in the Val d'Agri, in Val Basento and a number of the foreign countries where Eni operates (Angola, Australia, Indonesia, Norway, Pakistan, Timor-Est, US-Alaska and Tunisia), during the 2010-2011 academic year.
On 10 October, the students from Tunisia will visit Eni's headquarters in Rome.
The concluding event, to be held on 15 October at 10 am at the Hotel dell'Arpa in Viggiano, will also involve schools from Tramutola, Marsico Nuovo and Viggiano, winners of the national prizes, and the kids from Tataouine, who will be able to give their first impressions of their trip. As usual, greetings will be offered by Eni and the institutions that supported the project (the Basilicata Regional Council, and the Basilicata education department).
The project's web site Schoolnet will subsequently publish a diary of the Tunisian kid's journey.
