On the occasion of the 2012 Ravello Festival, eni is presented through the photographs of Federico Patellani, Aldo Ballo, Gianni Giansanti and the lenses of Bernardo Bertolucci, Gillo Pontecorvo, Valentino Orsini and the Taviani Brothers. The story is accompanied by a selection of objects from the past and present signed the six-legged dog the "faithful friend of man on four wheels", the famous slogan invented by Ettore Scola: from the the jar designed by Gio Ponti for the Agip motels to the trophy created by Antonio Pio Saracino for the Formula One Grand Prix of Germany in 2010, inspired by the "human-driven technology". Photography, film, educational games and design objects. Anticipating by a number of years McLuhan's thesis that "the medium is the message" - eni has always made quality cultural content a tool for a unique and recognisable dialogue.
The available films - by famous directors or independent filmmakers – display an ability to tell the story of eni and the world of energy in an original way.
The beautiful pictures from the second half of the fifties by Federico Patellani, one of the photographers of the Dolce Vita and by Aldo Ballo, the master of photo-design until the final shoots by Gianni Giansanti, provide a panoramic fresco of the world eni.
