Eni is a partner of the Mostra Convegno Agroenergia to be held from 1 to 3 March in Tortona, the most important renewable energy for agriculture event in Italy: biofuels, biogas, solar power.
As the focal point for the most advanced experience in the sector, the Mostra Convegno Agroenergia – Technology and Solutions event is a thermometer for the state of the art of agro-energy in Italy.
As an expression of the Italian north-west agro-energy district, the event offers a complete and authoritative overview of agro-energy solutions, a sector that has been growing rapidly in recent years as an interesting alternative for farmers given the critical situation in certain traditional crops, alongside the development of other renewables.
Around ten universities and research institutes will take part in the Mostra Convegno Agroenergia, including: Dipartimento di Produzione Vegetale della Facoltà di Agraria dell'Università di Milano.
This year, the Agroenergy event will be held entirely inside the Parco Scientifico e Tecnologico di Tortona, located at Rivalta Scrivia in a new exhibition pavilion and with a rich programme of conferences and creating a dynamic space for business, contacts, knowledge and new competences.
With the arrival of important new developments in the world of agro-energy, the Parco Scientifico Tecnologico, which manages and is the headquarters of the Innovation Park of the Piedmont Region for Renewable Energy and Biofuels (POLIBRE), will become an authentic point of reference for the entire sector.
The two days of conferences will be organised along different lines with their relative sessions, for example: Judging Biogas, A Focus on Biomass and the Gasification Club, By-products Forum, Biofuel Platform and a presentation of the By-products Observatory.
