Eni considers safety in the workplace a fundamental value to be shared with employees, contractors and local communities.
At Eni, we have been committed to spreading a culture of safety as an essential element of operations. We do this through projects that encourage healthy and safe behaviour in all work environments and, more generally, in how we live. Safety isn't just a priority, it is a shared value in the organisation. Our objective is to motivate safety so that everyone takes a leading role as they carry out their work.
To promote safety, we have developed measures and actions that lead to acquiring healthy and safe behaviour in all work environments and in the way we live. Our commitment is to act on some key levers. In particular:
To spread and strengthen the culture of safety among all of Eni's people, employees and contract staff alike, we have developed numerous campaigns and projects. For example, we have created theatre events and round table discussions to increase awareness on the subject, engaging top management, sub-contractors, local community representatives and external guests.
To demonstrate how our Safety Golden Rules can be applied to many different situations in our daily lives, both at home and in the workplace, we have shared the most relevant lessons learned through video clips and videos that we have produced.
