Art at the Gazometro 2025, a talent-inspired journey
"More than meets the eye" by internationally renowned Italian artist Maurizio Nannucci, is presented as part of "Art at the Gazometro" in collaboration with MAXXI, the National Museum of 21st Century Arts. The work, a gigantic neon writing, uses white light to trace a new geography of the city, creating an ideal bridge between contemporary art and industrial archaeology. Conceived in a new site-specific configuration to dialogue with the architecture of Gazometro G3 at the Eni Complex in Rome Ostiense, the installation is directly visible from the external roadways, from 26 September 2025 to 26 March 2026.

Running from 28 March to 21 July, the exhibition “Punti di vista” (Points of View) opened the 2025 Arte al Gazometro season, offering a journey between past and future through the works of nineteen figurative artists, including Mimmo Paladino, Ernesto Morales, Atak, Severin Gambier, Erk14, Vera Flux, Lorenzo Capolupi and many others. Curated by Marco Capasso in collaboration with Fabio Ortolani’s Il Sole Gallery, the exhibition reinterprets the industrial landscape by introducing new artistic perspectives on the contemporary world, thus inaugurating the new cultural season. The official poster for this edition has been designed by Mimmo Paladino.
From 3 to 6 July, the Gazometro also hosted Videocittà 2025 in the same exhibition space, offering visitors a chance to experience the festival of vision and digital culture.

In addition to the exhibition Punti di vista, the Rome Ostiense site features other art projects. Several other installations, created for Eni’s cultural partnerships, are also showcased at the site. In the second half of the year, a project developed in collaboration with a major Roman museum offers the public the opportunity to visit an exhibition dedicated to the appreciation of a high-value artwork selected from Eni’s art heritage. This is presented alongside a parallel exhibition featuring young artists who reinterpret the artwork through their own artistic language. Finally, an audiovisual feature curated by Capasso and AGI retraces the Gazometro’s transformation through historical images and future visions.
The 2025 edition of Arte al Gazometro transforms the industrial complex into a meeting place between past and future, where art, technology and talents come together in a single experience.
