International training courses

Partnerships with foreign universities

We work with many prestige universities abroad supporting highly specialized training programs for new generations.

With the University of Oxford we have entered into an agreement whereby Master's and Doctorate scholarships are awarded annually to students from the sub-Saharan African countries of interest to Eni.

Since 2018, there has been an active collaboration with the Kazakh British Technical University (KBTU) in Almaty to create a Master's in Petroleum Engineering, providing business and academic experts in lecturing.

Also in Kazakhstan, since 2018 we have been supporting a curriculum proposed by the Society of Petroleum Engineers for Petroleum Engineering courses promoted by the University Satbayev in Almaty under the direction of the Colorado School of Mines, through company lecturers.

We have launched a project with Strathclyde University in Glasgow through a two-year agreement that will bring together Eni’s industrial know how and the skills of the Scottish university, which is a leader in the renewables sector. The aim is to analyse the skills needed by workers with experience in traditional energy fields for them to enter the green energy sector, particularly in offshore wind energy.

In the context of the energy transition, Eni and Strathclyde University will work together to promote a new approach that can facilitate job creation and job opportunities for the wind sector.
