Eni hosted the presentation in Italy of the World Energy Outlook 2014 of the International Energy Agency, which is recognized as the most authoritative source of strategic analysis of global energy markets.
It is regularly used as input to the development of government policies and business strategies and raises public awareness of the key energy and environmental challenges the world is facing.
The report is based on new projections which are extended, for the first time, to 2040. The energy prospects of sub-Saharan Africa are analysed comprehensively and the state and prospects of nuclear energy examined in depth, all as part of a systematic analysis of developments in global energy across all fuels and nations.
