As part of the Salone del Restauro 2012 Eni is a partner of the conference Il futuro del passato di Yenikapi Nodo strategico e parco archeologico.
The conference will analyse the proposed revival of the neighbourhood and harbour of Yenikapi in Istanbul, based on the restoration of the area's great archaeological heritage.

The communicative potential, if effectively combined with new technologies and an organic network of economic interactions and enlightened investors, could become the driver of new urban and territorial renaissance.

After the meeting held in Istanbul in September 2011, this will be a new opportunity for discussion involving the ITU (Istanbul Technical University), the Municipality of Fatih, the IRCICA (International Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture) and the Polytechnic of Milan, once again with the support of Eni.

The aim of the meeting is to publicise an issue of international importance and scientific interest regarding the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage, in line with the focus of the 2012 Ferrara Restoration Fair.
The communicative potential, if effectively combined with new technologies and an organic network of economic interactions and enlightened investors, could become the driver of new urban and territorial renaissance.
