Marking the tenth anniversary of the attack on the  Twin Towers, Rome will remember the tragic events of 11 September 2001 by hosting "The September Concert", an extraordinary peace and music event, of which Eni is a partner.

The three days (10-11-12 September 2011)  of commemoration of 9/11, will begin with a photographic exhibition, "Cities of New York", a tribute to the American metropolis consisting of work by Italian and foreign artists who have produced photographic and video-installation projects on various aspects of the city of New York. The event will continue with the first screening in Italy of  the film "Rebirth", directed by Jim Whitaker and a soundtrack by the Oscar-winning composer Philip Glass. The film, made over ten years by a team of Hollywood film-makers also using footage shot by 14 cameras constantly focused on the World Trade Center, was greeted at last January's Sundance Film Festival in Park City (Utah) by a standing ovation.

Concluding the event, on 12 September, in the Sinopoli Hall of the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Alberto Veronesi will conduct the Orchestra della Fondazione del Teatro Lirico Petruzzelli in Bari in a performance of Concerto for Violin and Orchestra by Philip Glass.
