Eni and the state company Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production (OOCEP) have entered into an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) for Block 47 with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman today. In addition, Eni has signed with the Ministry of Oil & Gas and with BP a Head of Agreement (HoA) that sets up the principles for the acquisition of the Exploration and Production rights of Block 77 onshore.
Eni signed in Oman an EPSA which grants Eni with the Operatorship of Block 52, located offshore in an underexplored area, with hydrocarbons potential.
Following a Heads of Agreement signed on 14th of January 2019, Eni and BP have entered into a gas Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) for Block 77 with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman today.
Eni finalizes with OOC a MoU for cooperation in Oil & Gas sector and announces the entry into the Oman Upstream
OOC and Eni finalized a MoU to explore cooperation opportunities in the Oil&Gas. Moreover, Eni and OOCEP have been granted with exploration rights in Block 52, a largely unexplored area located offshore.
Mahani-1 represents the first exploration success for Eni in the UAE achieved only one year after the signature of the Concession Agreement. Eni announces a gas and condensate discovery in the Mahani exploration prospect located onshore in the Area B Concession of Sharjah (UAE), following Eni’s award of the first International Competitive Exploration Licensing Round launched by Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC).
Eni acquires from ADNOC a 20% equity interest in ADNOC Refining. The two companies consolidate their strong partnership.
The agreed terms for the 20% equity interest acquired by Eni include a cash price of approximately $3.3 billion after deduction of the net debt and subject to closing adjustments. This is one of the largest ever refinery transactions.
