- SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY
San Giuliano Milanese (Milan), 29 October 2026 – Enilive, company dedicated to mobility products and services, announces the opening of its new Enilive Truck Point in San Giuliano Milanese: it is the first Enilive rest area in Italy to achieve “Gold” certification under the European Safe & Secure Truck Parking Areas (SSTPA) standard.
The San Giuliano Milanese Truck Point, located in the Enilive service station in viale Lombardia at the corner of via Volturno, offers truck drivers an area with 64 spaces dedicated to heavy vehicles, and it is designed to make parking safer, more comfortable and functional. The Enilive Truck Point offers several services, including renovated sanitary facilities, showers, washing machines and dryers, as well as a relaxation area and free Wi-Fi throughout the zone. The entire Truck Point is under video surveillance and protected by modern access control systems and electrical connections are available to guarantee refrigerated vehicles a reliable power supply during prolonged stops. As for food service, Enilive Café is open 7 days a week, offering a selection of refreshments, hot and cold food bar, aimed at supporting truck drivers from breakfast through dinner. Enilive Station in San Giuliano Milanese enables the use of Multicard TruckPass24, an Enilive payment solution tailored for heavy-duty transport professionals to manage refueling across Europe, as well as fleet services and administrative tasks, in a simple, secure, and efficient manner: its usage is supported by a specialized acceptance network and dedicated digital services.
In addition to traditional fuels, the Enilive Station in San Giuliano Milanese also distributes HVO, a diesel biofuel made from 100% renewable feedstocks. HVO can contribute to the decarbonization of road transport, including heavy-duty vehicles, as it can be used without any structural modifications in all diesel engines that have been approved for its use. HVO is available at more than 1,700 of Enilive’s approximately 5,300 stations across Europe, which serve over 1.5 million customers every day.
“The new Truck Point in San Giuliano Milanese is set to become a key reference point for travel along major heavy-transport routes. It is the first Enilive Truck Point in Italy to achieve ‘Gold’ certification, confirming its high standards for the safety and comfort of truck drivers. This significant milestone is part of an ongoing path that, in recent years, has transformed Enilive service stations into mobility hubs that can offer an ever-expanding range of services for people on the move,” said Andrea Percivalle, Head of Mobility & People Retail Services and Cards at Enilive.
The SSTPA Gold certification was awarded to the Enilive Truck Point in San Giuliano Milanese by DEKRA, the only body accredited in Europe for this scheme. “Sustainability certifications are a fundamental tool for demonstrating, in a credible and transparent manner, an organization’s commitment to its customers, stakeholders, and the market. The growing interest in the SSTPA scheme confirms that the sector is evolving toward models that place greater emphasis on people, safety, and service quality. We believe this shift is essential to support the future of logistics and fostering sustainable, responsible growth across the entire supply chain” said Lorenzo Pighi, Country Sales Manager at DEKRA Italia.
The San Giuliano Milanese Truck Point is one of five rest areas for which Enilive won a European tender, launched as part of policies aimed at developing safer, more efficient, and more sustainable transport infrastructure along major heavy-duty transport routes. The renovation project is co-financed through the Connecting Europe Facility program (Project no. 101233155, “24-EU-TG-Enilive STEP Areas”), one of the key financial instruments provided by the European Union to strengthen the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) along major European corridors. The other four Enilive sites involved in the project are located in Austria and Germany: Enilive Truck Point in St. Marienkirchen, near Schärding (Austria), was inaugurated this summer, while the areas at German Enilive stations in Heiligengrabe-Liebenthal (Dorfstraße 67), Gollhofen (Industriestraße 1), and Thurnau (Industriestraße 8) are currently under development.
Recently in Italy Enilive has also renovated three further Truck Points, located at service stations in Cecina (via Variante Aurelia km 277, Livorno), Pontedera, and Collesalvetti (both on the SGC Florence-Pisa-Livorno expressway), where renovation have been made to the fueling areas and where services for truck drivers have been implemented. At the three stations, the food and beverage offerings include both the extensive Enilive Café menu and a selection from the ALT Stazione del Gusto menu, the format developed by Enilive in collaboration with Accademia Niko Romito.
