Rome, 29 June 2018 - Eni’s Advisory Board has met for the second time, chaired by Fabrizio Pagani. The advisors Ian Bremmer, Christiana Figueres, Phillip Lambert and Davide Tabarelli discussed a number of issues with members of Eni’s Board of Directors and Board of Statutory Auditors. Topics covered included the geopolitical relationship between the United States, Europe and Russia, a plan for progressive and pragmatic decarbonisation, and the development of an Energy Union for Europe.

Specifically, discussions focused on the ongoing energy transition and the need to ensure environmentally sustainable energy for everyone on the planet.

Fabrizio Pagani said: “The meeting was a valuable opportunity to discuss the most pressing issues currently facing the energy industry. The contributions made by our advisors were constructive for the company and will contribute to a conceptual strategy blueprint Eni is developing”.

The next meeting is scheduled for early September.
