World Day for Safety and Health at Work

Eni is making all its expertise available in a moment of great and unprecedented risk from global health.

The World Day for Safety and Health at Work takes place every 28 April. It was established  in 2003 by the International Labour Organization (ILO) to bring the world's attention to the importance of spreading a culture of safety as widely as possible. This year's slogan is "Stop the pandemic: safety and health at work can save lives".

At Eni, now more than ever we too consider our people's health and safety, and safe practices for workplaces, to be an essential value to share with all our employees and stakeholders.

The whole world is now faced with an unexpected situation, one that is radically changing our lives and testing us. But even in presence of this challenge, we are convinced of the importance of joining our efforts and working together

Which is exactly why we are using all our skill, experience and tools to fight this emergency through initiatives, collaborations and other activities. To help the country it was born in and still works in, Eni is helping people on the front line of this pandemic.

Eni is there for Italy. And that's not all: we have even started research on coronavirus using our supercomputer infrastructure and molecular modelling skills, offering the best tools and resources as weapons in the global fight against the emergency.
