Maputo, Mozambique, 20 May 2019 - Mozambique Rovuma Venture S.p.A. (MRV) and its Area 4 partners have agreed a USD100,000 contribution to aid recovering Mozambicans, and to highlight the continued need to support the regions impacted by Cyclone Idai and Kenneth.

The financial support is being directed to a leading humanitarian organization with a presence on-site to provide food assistance for the relief and recovery of the affected populations. The donation is being provided through a direct contribution by MRV and Area 4 partners.

This additional support complements the humanitarian assistance efforts already carried out by each of the Area 4 partners individually, totaling USD1,150,000, in order to minimize the impact caused by this natural disaster in the provinces of Manica, Sofala and Cabo Delgado.
