What happens when energy meets speed? From the partnership between Eni and BWT Alpine Formula One Team™, together with Enilive, our web series recounts how data, technology and people drive innovation in energy and motorsport.
28 October 2025
Once again this year, we are on tracks across the world as a Premium Partner of BWT Alpine Formula One™ Team. The collaboration, launched in 2025, marked Eni's return to the Circus after 25 years, back on board a racing single-seater. In the 2026 season, our logo features on the A526 car competing in the 2026 FIA Formula One™ World Championship, as well as on the drivers' and technicians' suits.
The central role of technology and sustainability is also a fundamental theme for the new era of F1™, with initiatives that aim to make performance increasingly technologically advanced and at the same time increasingly sustainable. In this context, Eni is the Official Energy and Fuel Partner of the BWT Alpine Formula One™ Team under a multi-year agreement that also involves the Renault Group with new programmes for mobility and energy. This strategic partnership is an example of how Eni intends to contribute to the development of advanced energy technologies and solutions, to align with the mobility needs of an ever-changing world.
We have chosen to showcase this commitment through Innovation Tracks, a web-series that opens the doors to the places where innovation is always running at maximum speed: inside Eni’s research centres and at the BWT Alpine Formula One™ Team headquarters in Enstone, UK. These are the places where people and technologies work together to deliver goals with a forward-looking vision. “Because the challenges faced on the track mirror the challenges that energy is facing today,” says Francesco Gattei, Chief Transition and Financial Officer at Eni.
