Standing Statutory Auditor
Statutory Auditor elected from the slate of candidates submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Born in Rimini in 1966, he has been a Standing Auditor of Eni since May 2026. He is a certified chartered accountant and a certified public auditor. He is CEO and Partner of NexumStp SpA Società Benefit – a professional partnership. Currently he is, among other roles, Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Invitalia – Italy’s National Agency for Investment Attraction and Business Development SpA, and Standing Auditor of Enel SpA, Fibercop SpA, Assetcop SpA, Solarcop SpA and Optics Holdco Srl. He is also Sole Director of Nexum Restructuring Srl, Eden Srl, Advice Real Estate Srl and 66 Investimenti Srl.
In his professional practice, he specialises in particular in tax advice on M&A and private equity transactions, due diligence, strategic and tax planning, trust and estate planning, and tax optimisation of financial products and structured finance.
He has carried out independent auditing work for supranational bodies, for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and various NGOs.
Among other roles, he has served as a Standing Auditor of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA, Heres SpA, Menarini SpA (formerly Industria Italiana Autobus SpA) and Longano Eolica SpA.
He writes for the “Libere professioni” series, published by Buffetti, and is a columnist for various economics and finance publications.
He has taught on corporate training courses, including the course organised by INFOR – Training School entitled “The Controller: the principles of financial statement analysis and management control” and the course organised at FormAutonomie – Training Centre for Local Authorities on “Corporate law reform”.
He graduated with honours in Economics and Business from the Luiss University (Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali) in Rome, and went on to earn two Master’s degrees in “Auditing and Due Diligence” and “The Chartered Accountant in the Public Sector”.
