Director elected from the list presented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Born in Rome in 1981, he has been Eni Director since May 2026.
A chartered accountant and certified public auditor with ten years of experience in tax consultancy and he is specialised in risk management and corporate compliance, including the insurance sector.
He is a member of Supervisory Bodies (pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001) and Statutory Auditor in several companies. Among his current offices, he serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Body of CONSAP SpA, Chairman of the Board of Auditors of the Italian National Institute of Health, and is an external member of the Supervisory Body of Poste Vita SpA.
He teaches at the “Aldo Sanchini” School of Professional Training of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Rome on topics relating to Supervisory Bodies.
From May 2023 to May 2026, he served as a director of Poste Italiane SpA, acting as Chairman of the Control and Risk Committee and as a member of the Related Parties Committee. He was also sole director of AR Edizioni Srl of the Order of Architects of Rome, and a Director of Roma Servizi per la Mobilità Srl.
From 2018 to April 2026, he was a partner of Nexum Stp SpA Società tra Professionisti, focusing on the Corporate Liability pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001, internal auditing and the assessment of internal control systems, anti-money laundering regulations, privacy, cyber risks and sustainability reporting.
He has held oversight roles on the Supervisory Bodies of Italian and foreign companies; in particular, he served on the Supervisory Bodies of Banca di Credito Popolare di Torre del Greco and of companies belonging to the French group Engie.
He is a member of the Study Committee on the Corporate Liability pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 at the Order of Chartered Accountants of Rome.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business Sciences at the University of Roma Tre, and a Master’s degree in Governance, Control Systems and Internal Auditing in Public and Private Companies at the same university.
