We currently operate in the Refining & Marketing and Chemicals and Plenitude & Power sectors, but our relationship with the country dates back to the 1950s with Agip. We also operate in the country’s chemicals industry through Versalis International and a commercial subsidiary.
With the aim to optimize its portfolio, in December 2022, Plenitude sold to Depa Infrastructure, a Greek subsidiary of Italgas, a 49% stake of Eda Thess (Thessaloniki Thessalia Gas Distribution S.A), one of the main operators of the gas infrastructure system in Greece.
Through Plenitude, in January 2022 we acquired the Greek company Solar Konzept Greece ("SKGR"), owner of a photovoltaic plants’ development platform in the country. SKGR's portfolio includes a pipeline of projects at various stages of development, totalling around 800 MW. These projects form the basis for further development in the country.
