Eni is strongly committed to an early development of the significant and known resources in this mature exploration area, where an exploration/appraisal well is expected to be drilled and tested as early as the second half of 2012.
For the first time in Italy, The adoration of the Shepherds by Georges de La Tour will be shown together with one of the most famous masterpieces by the painter from Lorraine, St Joseph the Carpenter, in the now annual exhibition at Palazzo Marino organised by Eni in collaboration with the City Council of Milan and the Louvre Museum.

The discovery of gas made in the exploratory prospectus of Mamba South 1 is about 50% larger than what announced by the Company on October 20th.
The research on "Anti-corruption and the private sector - the role of corporate anti-bribery programs", will be conducted by experts from Eni’s legal department and five academic institutions coordinated by ISPAC.
The Mamba South 1 discovery well is located in water depths of 1585 meters approximately 40 km off Cabo Delgado coast, in the Northern offshore of Mozambique. This is the first exploration well in Area 4.
