ADIPEC (the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition), one of the largest events for the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East and North Africa, has taken place on 11-14 November 2019 in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. Eni had a 120 m2 stand at the event where interested parties came together and exchanged valuable ideas on the future of energy.

We had a 120m² exhibition space at the event and, as with the previous edition, we hosted a series of talks not only on Eni's presence in the region but also on the themes of research, exploration and HSE. The ISWEC model was also displayed on the stand and the importance of proprietary Waste to Fuel technology explained.

Eni’s participation in ADIPEC

Featuring over 2,200 exhibitors from 136 countries around the world – including 100 Italian companies –, Eni was, once again one of the oil companies attending the event, with a stand setting out our commitment and activities across the entire energy supply chain. The 4-day event will provide the perfect opportunity for sharing ideas and meeting new people, along with over 160 talks and a packed conference programme focused on the issues of extraction and Oil & Gas-related services, from exploration to safety, renewables to gas. ADIPEC is a platform where all players operating in the Oil & Gas sector worldwide can come together in the presence of Energy Ministers, representatives of the main companies and industry professionals to share thoughts, knowledge and ideas. The Eni stand at ADIPEC will allow the public to learn about some of the projects in which we are currently involved by giving them access to video and iconographic content related to the most relevant issues for our company. Topics will range from our new business model to a revamped exploration model, which has led to excellent results in terms of costs and time-to-market. Others, meanwhile, will focus on the importance of natural gas, both for ourselves and for the energy market as a whole, as an ideal bridge during this phase of transition to renewables and the accelerated use of digital and other technologies.

ADIPEC takes place in the United Arab Emirates, currently the seventh largest oil-producing country in the world. A member of OPEC since 1967, the UAE has reserves equivalent to a total of 98 billion barrels of oil.
