Eni: three start-ups are selected for Eni’s CallForGrowth open innovation initiative

Fluxedo, Nuvap and Inglobe will work with Eni on the joint development of cutting-edge digital solutions in the fields of personal health and safety, service area improvements and the integration of business manuals with digital twins.

San Donato Milanese (MI), 4 March 2019 – Fluxedo, Nuvap and Inglobe are the Italian start-ups that Eni has chosen to explore the joint development of cutting-edge digital solutions in the fields of personal health and safety, service area improvements, and the integration of business manuals with digital twins.

By collaborating with some of the best Italian start-ups, Eni accelerates its own digital transformation process and contributes to developing a powerful network of potential leading companies in technological innovation.

The three start-ups have successfully reached the end of the selection process that was launched last November with Eni's CallForGrowth project ‒ an initiative in partnership with growITup, the open innovation platform which supports major companies in forming new partnerships with start-ups.

The three successful start-ups are now about to embark upon a three-month period of intense collaboration with Eni aimed at creating three distinct pilot projects, one for each CallForGrowth area.

Eni's digital transformation has reached a crucial stage with currently over 200 digitalization projects under way that span all sectors of business. Digital transformation is a key driver towards continuously improving the company's results in terms of safety, asset integrity, the environment and operational efficiency. This transformation puts the people in the forefront, enhancing their skills and promoting growth. The digital transformation will see Eni become even more process-integrated, better able to combine emerging digital skills with traditional technical abilities, open to innovation, more agile in its operational and working processes, and more attractive to new talent.
