The network aims to share best practices adopted by multinationals, also through their foundations, regarding social security and, in particular healthcare, the protection of maternity and insurance. Such initiatives can also support the development of national plans in the countries in which the multinationals operate.
The Eni Foundation has shared the projects it has developed in favour of health programmes for the most vulnerable, in particular for mothers and children. This initiative is in line with the United Nations agenda for 2030 which, among other things, aims to promote partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society in order to reinforce sustainable development.
