Claudia Colla

Head of EU Regional Office in Milan, European Commission

Claudia Colla is the Head of the European Commission Representation in Milan, covering Northern Italy. She has been working for the European Commission for 20 years. Her expertise covers several EU policies, including international trade, competition and internal market. Among her recent duties, she was head of the EU delegation at the Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade of the WTO. Before joining the European Commission, Claudia was member of the Cabinet of the Italian Minister for European Affairs. She has been assitant professor of International Relations and EU policy making at the Universities of Florence and Bologna. Claudia is a fellow of the Marshall Memorial Fellowship Programme (GMF) and of the UN Disarmament Fellowship Programme. She holds a Master Degree in EU Law at the College of Europe (Bruges), in Diplomatic Studies (Bologna) and International Relations and Political Science (Florence).
