Gianvito Tumbarello

Coordinates and oversees the administrative and organizational activities of Eniverse, ensuring effective and continuous interaction with Eni’s functions. Collaborates with the Director of Venture Strategy & Development in defining growth strategies and implementing new technologies within the Eniverse ecosystem. Leads the origination process and venture-building initiatives, fostering synergies and communication among business units and corporate functions. Provides strategic and operational support to Eniverse ventures throughout all stages of technological and business development, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Additionally, manages external communication activities in coordination with central functions, strengthening brand positioning and visibility.

Gianvito Tumbarello is Venture Strategy Manager at Eniverse Ventures, Eni’s Corporate Venture Builder. He contributed to the creation of Eniverse within the Research & Development Directorate, leveraging over 13 years of experience at Eni. Throughout his career, he has held key roles in both governance and technical processes, including Senior Lead Auditor in the Internal Audit Directorate and Reservoir Geologist in the Reservoir Studies Directorate. Since January 2025, he has served as Technical Secretary of the Scientific Technical Committee of Eniquantic, reinforcing his commitment to innovation and technological development. Gianvito graduated with honors in Geological Sciences at University of Palermo and earned a second-level Specializing Master in Petroleum Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.
