Maria Jelescu has held her CFA since 2004 and holds a dual degree in economics and management science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Prior to founding Ardinall Investment Management, she spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs & Co., where she most recently served as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director in the Goldman Sachs Investment Partners Group in the Investment Management Division.
Currently, she is a member of the Advisory Board of the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and also serves as the Co-Chair of their Women in Energy program.
Additionally, Maria Jelescu is a member of the MIT Corporation’s Development Committee and sits on the MIT Economics Department’s Visiting Committee. She serves as a director on the board of Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation (NYSE: MIC) and on the board of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). Additionally, she serves on the boards of several private companies and non-profit organizations.
Maria Jelescu is also a member of the New York State Secure Choice Savings Program Board. She is a member of the Economic Club of New York, the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) and a member of the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle.
