He was born in Siracusa in 1971. Head of Remediation at Eni Rewind since January 2023.
He graduated from the Politecnico di Torino with a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical division.
He joined Enichem in 2000 and began working in maintenance engineering at the petrochemical Plant in Priolo Gargallo (SR), with the task of initiating the environmental characterisation and remediation work at the Priolo Gargallo multi-company site.
In 2003, he took over responsibility for the Technical Office, Inspections and Tests at the Syndial plant in Priolo Gargallo, managing environmental measures in a complex historical context.
In June 2005, he became Head of Safety and Environment at the Priolo Gargallo plant.
In January 2008, he was appointed Head of Health, Safety and Environment for Syndial at the San Donato Milanese headquarters, with responsibility for providing guidance, coordination and control in the areas of safety, industrial hygiene, product safety and the environment for Syndial.
From October 2010 to July 2015, he was in charge of the management of remediation sites in Sicily, an area with complex environmental issues, in particular the sites of Priolo Gargallo (SR) and Gela (CL). From October 2012 to April 2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Società Consortile Priolo Servizi.
From August 2015 to February 2017, he was responsible for the management of remediation sites in Sardinia.
From March 2017 to September 2019, he was responsible for the management of remediation sites in Northern Italy.
From 2019 to early 2023 he was Head of Water & Waste Management.
