Everything we do aims at excellence. An enduring commitment to value people, their skills, their uniqueness.

The culture of plurality

Personal and cultural diversity are a source of mutual enrichment and an undeniable element of business sustainability. Eni's approach to Diversity & Inclusion starts from here, as well as from fundamental principles. In the company, all people must be treated fairly, regardless of their individual differences. In the area of female empowerment,

we promote initiatives aimed at attracting talented girls and women and developing growth paths for female professionals and managers. In addition to monitoring the presence of women, we give visibility to Role Models who, by their example, demonstrate the concrete possibility of professional fulfilment in areas still considered typically as suited for men.

A fundamental resource for human development

In our mission, inspired by the United Nations 2030 Agenda, diversity is one of the values underpinning our work.

Commitment to the development of people

We regard health as a fundamental human right and protect it at every level, involving workers, suppliers, families and communities. We put safety at the heart of a collective approach that involves everyone.

We protect our environment, preserve biodiversity and use resources rationally. In addition to these commitments, we repudiate all forms of corruption and act ethically and transparently.

We want to contribute to the well-being
of the communities which host us

As a prerequisite for a fair energy transition, respect for human rights is an integral part of our culture. It is based on the dignity of every human being and companies have a responsibility in this area, as they can actively contribute to the well-being of individuals and local communities.

This approach is rooted in Eni's business model and is guided by top management, which consciously and widely disseminates it at every level of the company. The commitment to human rights starts with relations with employees and extends to relations with communities, governments, suppliers and business partners, as well as workers’ rights.
