Unlocking Value Award, Eni rewards entrepreneurship

Eni people are at the heart of the business transformation process thanks to the Unlocking Value Award programme, developed by Joule with the collaboration of the Planning and Control function.

On 13 June in Milan, the entrepreneurial spirit was celebrated with the awarding of innovative proposals capable of simplifying processes, optimising resources and generating value inside and outside the company. The first edition received 290 projects from 16 different countries, with 18 finalist ideas, five of which were awarded during the event.

On stage to hand over the awards to the winners Francesco Gattei, Chief Transition & Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Eni, who stressed the importance of spreading the entrepreneurial culture in the company and enhancing the managerial approach as a key lever for innovation.

Cash prizes went to:

• Selene Bianchi of Plenitude with Meet-Ering, for making the #renewableenergy market more transparent
• Dario Vitiello of Global Natural Resources with Maintenance Master Data Hub, bringing #automation and quality to the management of technical data
• Chiara Parmiani of Plenitude with Expert Hub, activating the organisation's hidden skills

Special mentions went to:

• Maria Agnese Pozzovivo of Versalis with Eni Smart Travel, a new #sustainable corporate mobility
• Sara Scaramellini of Global Natural Resources with Eni 3D Printing, on-demand production that reduces costs and impacts

The initiative was launched in November 2024 and from July 2025, the five winning ideas will follow an incubation path, coordinated by the relevant areas.
