From ideas to real-world projects - Versalis Investor Day

After months of effort, the three Versalis teams presented their project business plans to CEO Adriano Alfani and management members, illustrating the tangible outcomes achievable from initial concepts, as part of the Joule Discovery Lab for Eni People, programme.   

Versalis, Eni's subsidiary dedicated to sustainable and circular chemistry, played a key role in the second edition of the idea validation programme, aimed at fostering new concepts and initiatives to advance the company's decarbonisation and sustainability efforts.    
   

• The EcoAlly team proposed two projects for promoting Versalis via sports, potentially implementable during the Milan-Cortina Olympics. Both initiatives involve the use of recycled plastics.
• The VePlay team has developed EVA Balance, a new range of recycled plastic toys designed to entertain children and educate parents about recycling, echoing Versalis' values. 
• The Race2Recycle team has created smart bins designed to educate and promote awareness of plastic properties, usage and recycling.
