Eni’s Commitment to respect Human Rights

Human Rights are an integral part of Eni’s internal legal framework: in addition to Eni’s Statement on respect for Human Rights, Eni has been integrating Human Rights into its main policies, including, but not limited to, its Code of Ethics and its Operating Instructions. Human Rights are also embedded in the Company’s governance structure and process.

Eni reaffirms its commitment to respect the human rights contained in the International Bill of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, as well as the other applicable human rights as set out in international treaties and standards.

Eni adheres to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

Within the framework of its Statement on respect for Human Rights, Eni has undertaken specific commitments as the respect of human rights in the workplace, the respect of human rights of individuals and the local communities, the integration of the respect of human rights into the business relationships, etc.
