Solid collaborations
Solid collaborations. The story of this journey starts from and with the people. Since 2021, Eni has established a network of collaborations with different countries to develop agri feedstock projects, which aim to create models of sustainable agriculture by promoting social development.

Agri hubs
In the agri hubs, seeds are processed into vegetable oil. This takes place in the oil extraction lines within the plants, combining industrial efficiency with the socio-economic development of rural areas.

The collaboration centre
Agri hubs are real driving centres of skills for unlocking the full potential of the agricultural system. Collaboration between farmers and research institutes turns effective around these structures.

Services to communities
The colleagues from Eni Kenya provide the necessary technical support for the farmers: from seeds delivery to training courses as well as the most effective techniques for cultivation or water conservation in area subject to drought-prone.

The protagonists of the transformation
The protagonists are women and men who find in the project an opportunity to work and access the market.
Sustainability
The project will bring significant economic benefits to local economies.
80,000 farmers involved
After the start-up of the first agri hub in Kenya in 2022, there was a second one to follow by 2023: the impacts include income generation for more than 80,000 households in 2023.
Services
Eni provides agricultural inputs, seeds and other services to support farmers.
The voice of transformation
Makueni, Kitui and Kwale. These are just some of the counties in Kenya that have been transformed through collaboration between farmers and agri hubs.
