Le sfide dettate dalla pandemia intensificano il nostro impegno a favore delle comunità dei Paesi in cui operiamo.
Per supportare le strategie portate avanti dai Paesi che ci ospitano, ci siamo prefissati l’obiettivo di impegnarci nel prevenire e contrastare la diffusione della pandemia COVID-19 e migliorare la resilienza delle comunità locali, specialmente le più vulnerabili.
Le nostre iniziative sono state delineate e condivise con le autorità locali e rispondono alle necessità specifiche di ogni Paese. In molti casi abbiamo lavorato in sinergia con agenzie ONU e con ONG locali e internazionali.
Ci impegniamo a raggiungere i nostri obiettivi, tenendo conto anche del Piano globale di risposta umanitaria (Global Humanitarian Response Plan, HRP) delle Nazioni Unite sul COVID-19, con una strategia articolata su una serie di aree di intervento fondamentali: assistenzasanitaria, protezionesociale, acqua e igiene, prevenzione, educazione.

Focus sulla costruzione e l’ammodernamento di strutture sanitarie, e fornitura di attrezzature mediche. Il nostro piano prevede:

ammodernamento, potenziamento e costruzione di ospedali e strutture sanitarie in Ghana, Congo e Nigeria
