North/West Europe Auction for Subletting Products

from 1st October 2018 to 1st October 2019

As already anticipated in the information notice published on 24/05/2018, (available here), Eni S.p.A. intends to make available transportation capacity from 01/10/2018, 06:00 a.m. to 01/10/2019, 06:00 a.m. through non-discriminatory and transparent single-round auctions according to the system marginal price rule.

The capacity will be offered on different routes through the subletting product and shall be allocated among the interested operators by means of auctions in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Auction Procedure(s) attached hereto.

The available transportation capacity will be offered on firm basis along one or more of Transitgas and GRTgaz pipeline systems (“NW Pipeline System”) on a yearly and quarterly basis as follows:

Yearly product (GY 2018-19):

  • Section 1 - Transitgas (Wallbach – Passo Gries): 40 lots1
  • Section 2 - Transitgas (Oltingue – Passo Gries): 3 lots1
  • Section 3 – Exit Oltingue + Transitgas (Oltingue – Passo Gries): 9 lots1

Quarterly product (4Q 2018, 1Q 2019, 2Q 2019 and 3Q 2019):

  • Section 1 - Transitgas (Wallbach – Passo Gries): minimum of 11 lots1
  • Section 2 - Transitgas (Oltingue – Passo Gries): minimum of 2 lots1
  • Section 3 – Exit Oltingue + Transitgas (Oltingue – Passo Gries): minimum of 6 lots1

The final offer and related volumes for each quarterly product will be published before the related auction.

Eni S.p.A. may consider to negotiate on a bilateral basis possible transportation capacity agreements with interested parties for the volumes not allocated in the yearly and/or quarterly auction procedures.

The documentation related to the GY 2018-19 and 4Q 2018 product auctions are attached hereto.

The documentation related to the 1Q 2019, 2Q 2019 and 3Q 2019 product auctions will be published around 2 months before the start of the related quarter; the related auctions will be held accordingly.

Please note that the deadline for submitting the complete Documentation for participating in the GY 2018-19 product auctions is 26th June 2018 at 4:00 p.m., while the deadline for submitting the complete Documentation for participating in the 4Q 2018 product auctions is 26th July 2018 at 4:00 p.m..

Please also note that if you are interested in participating both in the GY 2018-19 and in the 4Q 2018 product auctions, you will have to present two separate Documentations (a notarized Application Form, a Bid Bond and a Declaration, one for the GY 2018-19 and one for the 4Q 2018 product auctions).

Please note that only the companies which do not have any unpaid pending debts toward Eni S.p.A. for amounts in excess of Euro 200.000,00 (two hundred thousand/00) resulting unpaid upon expiry of 30 days after the established due payment date are entitled to participate to the auction and that only one company of the same corporate group will be entitled to participate to the auction.  

Finally, please be informed that the above mentioned available transportation capacities do not include the corresponding capacity at entry Passo Gries on Snam Rete Gas network system.
