REMIT Regulation
Eni publishes on this website information on Natural Gas and Electricity that is relevant in accordance with the prescription of article 4 of Regulation (EU) no. 1227/2011 (REMIT).
Information is related to planned maintenance and unplanned events on a production or consumption facility with an effect above 10 MSm³/d (Natural Gas) or 100 MW of capacity (Electricity) and it is published on this web page in the shortest time possible after the knowledge of the event.

Our company has been officially included on the REMIT Register that, since 2011, monitors the transparency of energy markets. It provides information regarding planned unavailability, communicated to the public in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Regulation 1227/2011 (REMIT) and measures relating to accidental unavailability, communicated to the public in accordance with article 4 of the Regulation 1227/2011 (REMIT).

Planned unavailability

In accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of EU Regulation n. 1227/2011 concerning the integrity and transparency of the wholesale energy market (REMIT), the attached information provides details on the planned unavailability from electricity generation units, with a maximum net capacity greater than or equal to 100 MW, owned by EniPower, EniPower Mantova SpA and EniPower Ferrara Srl.

Unplanned unavailability

In accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of EU Regulation n. 1227/2011 concerning the integrity and transparency of the wholesale energy market (REMIT), the attached excel file, provides information concerning unplanned unavailability from power generation units, with a maximum net capacity greater than or equal to 100 MW, owned by EniPower, EniPower Mantova SpA and EniPower Ferrara Srl.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of EU Regulation n. 1227/2011 concerning the integrity and transparency of the wholesale energy market (REMIT), the following information (and also in the section Documents) provides details on the other market information REMIT relevant.

  • Greenstream hereby informs that, due to a temporary quality specification problem, the gas flowrate has been reduced. The volume of gas expected to be delivered at the Gela terminal for the current gas day, Feb. 16th, is approx. 5 mln. m3 (vs. an original program of 10 mln. m3). Steps are being taken to restore the normal flowrate as soon as possible. Further updates will follow.

    Greenstream hereby informs that the off-spec situation at the pipeline inlet terminal has been rectified. In order to allow the return to a normal transportation regime and the orderly offtake of off-spec volumes currently in the pipeline, flowrate fluctuations may occur at the Gela terminal during the gas days of Saturday, Feb. 17th and Sunday, Feb. 18th.

  • TTPC informs that an urgent intervention of extraordinary maintenance will be carried out at the Cap Bon compression station during the gas day of tomorrow, Thursday, January 25th. This intervention, whose conclusion is expected within the same gas day, requires the shutdown of the station and will result in a 65% reduction of the transportation capacity.Volumes delivered at the Mazara del Vallo Entry Point will therefore be limited to 35% of the TTPC capacity.
